1. Mark the tradePress the square button on a row when you take the trade. Press again to unmark it. Your inputs stay saved, but an unmarked row is excluded from every calculation.
2. Enter the resultType the trade's total net USD P&L. Use a minus sign for losses. A blank result is pending; entering 0 records a break-even trade. There are exactly three slots per weekday.
Win rateWinning trades / all closed trades x 100. Break-even trades count as closed, but not as wins or losses. Blank, unmarked and pending trades are excluded.
Average and biggest resultsAverage win uses positive results only; average loss uses negative results only. Biggest win and loss refer to individual trades, not entire days. No qualifying data is shown as a dash.
Calendar and scopeThe calendar and top overview always show the visible month. Bottom statistics can switch between that month and all time. Click a calendar day to jump to its three journal rows.
Profit factor and drawdownProfit factor = gross wins / absolute gross losses. Expectancy = net P&L / closed trades. Drawdown is the largest peak-to-trough drop in closed-trade equity starting at $0, ordered by date, entered time, then slot.
Your journal starts empty. Demo mode is separate and never overwrites or uploads your real entries. A JSON backup restores the journal; a CSV export is for analysis and is not a restore file.
Saving and privacy
Local mode stores data in this browser only. Cloud sync requires the included backend and a configured database. The status indicator distinguishes saved locally, pending sync, synced, and storage errors. Different fields are merged during a sync conflict; simultaneous changes to the same field use the last successful sync. Cloud sync is not live collaboration: reload or press Sync on another device to fetch changes.
The hosting address can remain available independently of this chat. Hosting depends on your account and provider staying active; no website can be guaranteed to stay online forever. A local copy can still be opened without hosting.
